Packing & Removals Division

In addition to commercial cargo, CML expanded its operations in 1995 to include a packing and removals division – CML SAFEPAK. CML immediately became an active member of the Household Goods Forwarders Association of America (HHGFAA), [www.hhgfaa.org] the ‘largest union of auditing, forwarding, moving and shipping companies in the world’, and a key player in the removals business.

In 2005, CML became the only FIDI-FAIM affiliate in Jordan. FIDI (Federation Internationale des Demenageurs Internationaux) is the largest global alliance of independent quality international removal companies, all of which are accredited by the FIDI Accredited International Mover standard (FAIM) – one of the most stringent in the industry [www.fidi.com].

With its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, FIDI works in line with its mission and vision in mind to provide high quality, value adding service to its affiliates and to offer the customers a portal to a quality mover network. To date, the FIDI alliance comprises of over 500 international removal companies all accredited by the FIDI Accredited International Mover standard (FAIM).

FIDI-FAIM certified movers have passed a grueling quality compliance procedure and so earned the right to be a part of the FIDI network. The compliance procedure is examined externally by Ernst & Young and the FIDI-FAIM certified movers have to undergo this procedure every two years to prove that they continue to provide services of the highest quality.

Packing, Removals & Door-to-Door Services

CML offers the following individual and corporate relocation services both domestically and internationally: 

·         Pre-shipment surveys carried out using a portable electronic survey and estimating system which immediately rates the volume of the shipment and prints out an inventory report

·         Professional packing, crating, handling, weighing and labeling

·         Storage/Warehouse facilities (if needed)

·         Complete customs clearance at origin and destination

·         Freight forwarding by sea, land or air

·         Domestic transportation to destination address

·         Delivery and unpacking
